These terms govern your use of Out-Coached (the "app"). By using the app, you agree to them.
The game
Out-Coached is a free-to-play prediction game. You predict what happens on the next play of a football game and wager virtual play-credits against other players. The app pools and splits credits among players who predicted correctly.
No real money, no gambling
Play-credits have no cash value. They cannot be purchased with real money, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be exchanged for anything of value. Out-Coached is not a real-money gambling product, and nothing in the app should be understood as an offer of one. If this ever changes, these terms will be updated first.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Out-Coached. If you're under the age required by your country to consent to online services on your own, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
Fair play
Play-credits and leaderboard standings are for fun among the players in a game. Don't collude with the operators, attempt to exploit the timing of the betting window, or otherwise try to cheat other players. Operators running a game may not simultaneously hold a player balance with active stakes in that same game.
Accounts
The app creates an anonymous account for you automatically. You can optionally link a Google account to keep the same identity across devices. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
Changes and availability
Out-Coached is an actively developed, nights-and-weekends project. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features (including a game in progress) at any time, and we'll try to do so in a way that's fair to everyone playing.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for any losses arising from your use of it — remember, there's nothing of real monetary value at stake to begin with.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
